In the post on how to use Dexpot, a virtual desktop application, it was discussed that the virtual desktop was not a default setting of Windows7. Nevertheless, using multiple desktops can make work easy and keep its elements organized in one location. In this post, we discuss a different virtual desktop program, Virtual Dimension.
Virtual Dimension is an open source project, distributed under the GNU Public License terms.

Install the application.
Click Start
Next you configure the Desktop.
The Setting tab has general information.
Go to the Display Tab
The appearance can be changed by selecting Plain Color or Image
The Desktop Tab allows you to insert new desktops.
Select Insert to Add a new desktop.
Rename Desk1 to Desk2
Disk 1 Renamed
Changing Wallpaper
With multiple virtual desktops configured one can use them to set individual operations.
Let’s look at two different desktops, identified by the background wallpaper.
Desk2-Configured
With two desktops configured, the desktop manager allows you to toggle between the two desktops.
